» ADAPT-SUR: System adaptability based on models of user profiles, behavior analysis and plan recognition

This project proposes to investigate the convergence of technologies for analyzing user behavior, modeling of user profiles, recognition schemes and adaptive systems, and its applicability in the development of intelligent learning environments.
The central objective of the Adapt-SUR project is the construction and validation of environments and intelligent agents, mainly based on the Web, allowing the analysis of behavior of students modeling their profile and recognition of their plans and intentions, and use these techniques to adapt the navigation and presentation of content in a teaching / learning.
The collaboration between the participating teams is proposed for the study and development of computational tools integrated to Web learning environments, and the integration of techniques and features of different platforms previously developed by the participating teams, as well as experimentation with the environments resulting in the two contexts covered.

• Instituto de Informatica - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - Porto Alegre, Brasil.
