MEETING GOALS
This work meeting was special because it was binational organized.The congress was performed in Valparaiso, Chile and in Mendoza, Argentine.

In this meeting were 15 talks, 37 original works were exposed , 4 short courses and 8 discussion workgroups that included regional problem presentations.

MATHEMATICAL ECOLOGY
Mathematical Ecology is here showed as a strong multidisciplinary science into the region.

Meeting fulfillment and continuity are emphatized in a very hard time for science improvement.

MAIN ISSUES
