Some of Jane´s personal stuff
However much time and energy have been dedicated to the Computer Science
Dept. at UNCPBA, my life has certainly not only revolved around this.
My three children continue to be central to my thoughts, though my life
revolves less and less around them:
-
Paz, now 19, studying Aeronautical Engineering at La Plata National University
and enjoying Kung-Fu more than her studies. She deeply misses the hills
and natural environment of Tandil.
-
Gonzalo, at 17, is in his final year of IB studies at Atlantic College
in Wales, funded by a United World Colleges´ scholarship. He is very
busy and happy there, in the midst of 300 students from all over the world.
He plans to study Chemistry and Music and is aiming for a scholarship to
go to University in the U.S.
-
Federico, all of 14, misses his brother and sister, but having the house
to himself does have its advantages. A sportsman above all, currently playing
rugby, tennis, and soccer, and getting along fine at school with little
dedication and much imagination.
My personal interests, other than my friends and loved ones, include
Tai-chi, Chi-kung, keeping fit and feeling young. My aim is to enjoy life
as fully as possible, and for me this is directly related to relating to
others. I obviously enjoy reading and discussing anything related to the
meaning of life beyond the visible aspects.
Here are some photos taken in La Pedrera, Uruguay and Mar del Sud, Argentina
over January 2001 (Summer vacations), and at my last Birthday where we
danced to an accordion:
