This file contains two ZIP files that you will need:

  - ChMSG-SourceCode.zip -- This file contains all of the source code necessary to build all of the examples contained in the chapter. EXTRACT THIS FILE ANYWHERE ON YOUR SYSTEM BUT NOT IN THE WLS DIRECTORY!!!!
  - WLSDomain.zip -- This file contains a fully pre-configured WLS domain that has:
    * It's own startup scripts. Just run startwl.cmd to start the server. You may have to edit an environment variable in setenv.cmd to get this to work.
    * It has two JMS Destinations: an SampleQueue and an SampleTopic.
    * A preconfigured ConnectionFactory: BookCF
    * A preconfigured WLS Template needed to do Temporary Queues.
    * The two Destinations are setup with JMS Guaranteed Message Delivery to a file store.
    * INSTALL THESE FILES AS A SUBDIRECTORY TO config\ IN WLS!!! This is a complete domain.

Here is the install steps:
1) Extract ChMSG-SourceCode.zip to a build directory somewhere on your machine.

3) Extract WLSDomain.zip to your WLS config\ directory. after the installation, you should see something like \wlserver6.0\config\masteringejb\
  3a) Verify that there are a bunch of files in the masteringejb\ directory.
  3b) Open setenv.cmd and make sure that the WL_HOME variable is correctly configured for your machine.
  3c) YOU MUST COPY CONSOLE.WAR FROM YOUR mydomain\applications DIRECTORY INTO THE masteringejb\applications DIRECTORY. WE DID NOT INCLUDE IT IN THIS DISTRIBUTION TO SAVE SPACE!!!!!

4) Execute: startwl
  4a) WLS will start and begin listening in a moment.

5) Build the JAR file for the bean by compiling relevant Java files and packaging up any directories into a JAR file. You will have to run the EJBc compiler on the JAR file.

The system password is weblogic.
