Tommi
Mikkonen has been a professor of wireless and wired applications since 2001, and
he moved to the position from Nokia, where he had different architecting tasks,
including that of chief architect of Symbian OS. During the recent years, he has
supervised ~100 MSc thesis and 1 dissertation. His research include software architecture,
mobile software, and open source software. Currently, Mikkonen also acts as the
head of Institute of Software Systems at Tampere University of Technology, Tampere,
Finland. |
